Maria G. Nuñez Corona was born Guanajuato, Mexico. She was born on January 31, 1955 to parents Jose Guadalupe Nuñez Zavala and Esther Corona Calderon. Maria was a sweet, hardworking woman. She enjoyed washing her driveway every morning and doting on her daughter Yesenia. Maria loved and cherished her grandchildren, who were the most important in her life. She often raised other children that were not blood related, but she loved them and treated them like her own. Maria went to be with the Lord on September 13, 2020 in Bakersfield, California. Maria is survived by her husband, Juan Gomez Lopez; children, Ernestina Nuñez , Juan Gomez Nuñez, Guadalupe Nuñez, Mari Graciela Gomez, Consuelo Gomez, Esther Gomez, Miguel Salvador Gomez, Yesenia Gomez, Juan Gomez Nuñez III; brothers, Enrique Nuñez, Salvador Nuñez, Guadalupe Nuñez, Jose Luis Nuñez, Roberto Nuñez, Jorge Nuñez, Juan Nuñez; sisters, Irma Nuñez, Ramona Nuñez, Leticia Nuñez; 18 grandchildren and 3 great- grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her baby. A mass of a Christian burial will be held Friday, September 25, 2020 at 10am at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Arvin. A viewing will be held Thurday, September 24, 2020 from 3-9pm at Peters Funeral Home in Arvin with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6pm. María G. Núñez Corona nació en Guanajuato, México. Ella es precedida en la muerte por su bebé. Una misa de un entierro cristiano será el viernes, 25 de septiembre de 2020 a las 10am en la Iglesia Católica de Santo Tomás en Arvin. El velorio será el jueves, 24 de septiembre de 2020 de 3-9pm en la Funeraria de Peters en Arvin con el rezo del Santo Rosario a las 6pm.
