Fun and interesting facts: She lived in the City of Arvin for approximately 41 years. She worked as an instructional aide at Arvin High School, where she retired. She loved all things western cowboy and native American Indian themes and décor. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping in tents, and fly-fishing for trout.
She volunteered with the Civil Air Patrol where she would help find plan wreckage in the wilderness. She had a daring spirit which was made obvious when she went skydiving.
She enjoyed doing arts and crafts such as quilting with the ladies of the church, basket weaving with the spouse of Stroke support families.
She was a strong independent woman who demonstrated she strength and "go getter" attitude to her children. She loved her children, grandchildren and great-granddaughter. Her family was her pride and joy.
She was lucky to have found love when she met Renato Garza. Her love never wavered even as he suffered a heart attack and stroke. She stood by his side with love and care until his last breath was drawn.
She had a strong Christian faith which she held onto each day. She knew without a doubt that the Lord had a place for her in her heavenly home. She knew she would be reunited with her loved ones that passed before her.
