Maria de Jesus Campbell was born in Durango, Mexico to Nicolas and Zotera (Torres) Cisneros. She came to California to the city of McFarland in the early 1960's. Maria married John Campbell , she was a home maker and loved cooking tamales, she also enjoyed gardening. She was very proud when she became a naturalized citizen. Maria de Jesus is preceded in death by her husband John Campbell, 2007, Carol Campbell, Mona Campbell. She is survived by her son, John Campbell, Jr. of McFarland, brother, Rogelio Torres of Mexico; and sister, Gloria Lara of Los Angeles. A graveside under the direction of peters Funeral Home will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2012 at 10am at Wasco Memorial Park for Maria de Jesus Campbell. Age 78, of McFarland, who passed away in Delano, on January 15, 2012. Father John Fluetsch will officiate the service and interment will follow.
