Maria Esther Herrera March 16, 1946 - December 29, 2015 Maria Esther Herrera was born on March 16, 1946 in Guadalajara, Mexico to Daniel Santana and Juana Benavides. Maria was raised in a big family; 4 sisters, Esperanza, Maria de Jesus, Margarita and Angelica; 3 brothers, Francisco, Edubije, and Nemesio. Maria married the love of her life Jose Herrera and they spent many wonderful years together. They had 6 beautiful children together. Maria was a devoted wife and dedicated her life to the well-being of her family. On December 29, 2015, Maria passed away surrounded by her loved ones. Maria is survived by her husband Jose Herrera; mother, Juana Santana; sons, Carlos, Daniel, Arturo, and Luis; daughters Selena and Maite, and 15 beautiful grandchildren. A Mass of a Christian Burial will be officiated by Father John Schmoll on Thursday, January 7, 2015 at St. Augustine Catholic Church at 10am. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 6, 2015 at Arvin Funeral Home from 5-8pm with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7pm.
