Maria Guadalupe Delgado was born in Guanajuato, Mexico, on March 12, 1963, Juan and Maria Isabel Acosta. She married Martin Delgado on February 28, 1981, in Guanajuato. The couple moved to Wasco and has resided here since 1982. Maria was a homemaker and an entrepreneur; she owned the clothing store Ladies Fashion of Wasco. She enjoyed going to the casinos and watching her relatives play soccer. Maria valued many things, but what she valued most were her children and grandchildren. Maria was preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Josefina Acosta. She is survived by her son, Martin and wife, Berta Delgado and their child, Michael; daughter, Patricia and husband, Victor Acencio and their children, Victor Jr., and Daisy Alexandra; daughter, Karina Delgado; brothers, Gumaro Acosta and wife, Delta Barrera, Jose and wife, Irene Acosta, Jesus and wife, Rosemary Acosta all of Wasco, Jorge and wife, Teresa Acosta of Georgia; sisters, Rosa Acosta-Lopez of Mexico, and San Juana and husband, Pedro Sanchez; and many other loving family members. Visitation will be held at Peters Funeral Home in Wasco on Sunday from 2-8pm, with a Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 am Monday, at St. John's Catholic Church in Wasco, with intermenfollowing at the Wasco Memorial Park.
