Maria Elfida Dominguez was born September 17, 1928 in El Porvenir, Chihuahua, Mexico to Guadalupe Campos and Daniel Navarrete. Elfida married Trinidad Dominguez on February 26, 1950 in El Porvenir, Mexico. She lived in El Paso, Texas until she move to Wasco in 1954. Elfida was preceded in death by her husband, Trinidad Dominguez on October 24, 1995 and son, Javier Dominguez on February 11, 2015,: parents, Daniel and Guadalupe Navarrete and siblings, Jose Arturo Navarrete, Manuel Navarrete, Ramon Navarrete, Concepcion Granados and Sylvia Gonzalez. Elfida is survived by her children, Elma Rodriguez, Armando Dominguez, Maria Marrufo-Manning, Jaime Dominguez, Alicia Aguilera and Adrian Dominguez; 7 children, 25 grandchildren, 57 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be Monday, November 30, at 7pm at St. John's Church for Maria Elfida Dominguez, age 87, of Wasco who passed away at her home on November 22, 2015 surrounded by her beloved family. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, December 1, at 10am at St. John's church. A visitation will be held Monday, November 30 from 2pm to 6pm at Peters Funeral Home, Wasco.
