Maria C. Vasquez was born in La Sara, Texas, on September 19, 1937. She went to be with our Heavenly Father on March 28, 2026, at the age of 88. Maria was a devoted and loving mother, a kind friend, and a bright light in the lives of all who knew her. She had eight children, who were her greatest treasure: Juanita, Rene, Urbano, Ricardo, Daniel, Israel, Mary Elizabeth, and Criselda. She was the proud and adoring grandmother of 18 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Maria’s warmth and sense of joy were felt in every corner of her home. She was a hardworking forklift driver, and for many years, a dedicated homemaker. Her famous flour tortillas were loved by all, and her kitchen was always filled with laughter, kindness, and the aroma of home. She was married to Miguel Vasquez Jr. for 59 beautiful years, a partnership built on love, faith, and unwavering support. Maria’s gentle spirit, radiant smile, and boundless love will be deeply missed. Yet, her legacy of kindness and devotion will live on forever in our hearts. Rest in peace, dear Maria; you will always be cherished.
