Marguerite "Margo" Owings born on October 26, 1921 passed away on July 11, 2009 at the age of 87. She was a native of California and graduated from Manual Arts High School in 1939. Marguerite was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her son Donald and his wife Deborah Owings of Irvine, CA and son Richard and his wife Sharon Owings of Yucca Valley, CA. She was preceded in death by her son Robert Dittmar of Dana Point, CA. "Momo" left behind 11 grandchildren and 11 great-gandchildren as well After twenty years of working for Covina Unified School District, she retired and moved to Yucca Valley in 1979. Marguerite was known for her wry sense of humor yet her incredible generosity. She was an avid sports fan. Margo regularly attended the senior lunches and dances as well as the summer concerts in the park. her talent for crocheting provided gifts for many. Marguerite was loved by many and will be dearly missed.
