Margie Ellen Hughes was born on February 10, 1931 to Sidney and Mary Kelley. She was the middle child of 14 siblings. She married Jimmy Ray Hughes on February 25, 1948. Margie and Jimmy raised 4 daughters Ellen Rae, Paula, Sandy and Connie. Margie was a member of the Church of Christ. She loved family, flowers, Astros baseball, country music, pecan pie, Playing games especially canasta and scrabble. Margie was a happy person who wanted to live to be 100. She came close. Margie is preceded in death by her daughter Connie who passed away at age 5, her husband Jimmy on August 2, 2016. Margie is survived by her daughters Ellen Rae Meyers & Steve Meyers, Paula & Monty Mayo and Sandy & Stephen Hibphsham; 5 grandchildren Chris & Melinda Meyers, Jodi Meyers & Kriss Pierce, Angela Williams, Shanna Oman and Eric Stephen Oman;8 great grandchildren David & Kelsey Meyers, Jonathan & Emily Meyers, Joshua & Allyssa Meyers, Riley & fiancé Jordan Pierce, Ashley Pierce, Jamie Hibphsham, Kayla Hibphsham and Eric Hibphsham; great great granddaughter Hadley Myers; siblings Carrie & Richard Lucero, Robert Kelley & Peggy and Tommy & Nina Kelley.
