Margaret Ann Woodman Jan. 28, 1940-Aug. 24, 2011 Office Secretary, 71 Margaret Ann Woodman, a 64-year resident of California and a seven-year resident of Yucca Valley, died Aug. 24, 2011, at Eisenhower Medical Center in Rancho Mirage. She was 71 years old. The daughter of Richard F. Blackburn and Mary Ann Schifini Blackburn, she was born Jan. 28, 1940, in Brooklyn, N.Y. Mrs. Woodman was an office secretary in the aerospace industry for 20 years before she retired. She was a member of the Church of Religious Science and enjoyed quilting, crafts, travel and photography. Her husband of 19 years, Richard L. Woodman, preceded her in death six years ago. Mrs. Woodman is survived by daughter Jeri R. Lang of Yucca Valley; sister and brother-in-law Liz and Denny Nelson of Grass Valley; and cousin Margaret Mitchell of Palm Springs. A viewing will be held 5 to 8 p.m. Aug. 30 at Wiefels and Son Funeral Chapel in Yucca Valley. A service will be held at 1 p.m. Aug. 31, the Rev. Wyona Nilson officiating. Inurnment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association.
