IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Margaret Allen
Robison
September 26, 1920 – November 24, 2008
Margaret Allen Frazier Robison, Nana, Mother to All, was born in Warner, Oklahoma, September 26, 1920 to Robert Tomis (deceased 1971) and Cora Mae Callison Frazier (deceased 1966). Cora Mae was a descendant of Ezekiel Callison who was one of the first successful settlers of the San Joaquin Valley in 1870. Father, Robert Tomis was a direct descendant of Nancy Na-ha-ni Ward (Gighau) a Cherokee Indian princess. Her brothers, Wesley, Nip, Lon, Alford and sister Roberta preceded her in death. In 1938, Nana married her only love, James Buster Robison. They had five children: Patricia Ann (deceased 1987), Leslie Paul (deceased 2002), Michael Edward (deceased 1946). Nana kept her faith and dedication to our Lord throughout these heartbreaking losses. Her two surviving children are James Leon Robison and his wife Lidia, and Zelma Jean Robison Frankhouser and her husband William Edward. Nana has 13 grandchildren that live in various states. There are many great-grandchildren, and a few great-great grandchildren. Nana's life touched many people, and she had a deep and faithful love for her church family. Her happiest time was with her family and friends during the holidays. This year, her family will be together to celebrate her life and her new home in heaven. Visitation for Nana will be Friday, November 28, 2-8 p.m. at Hopson-Anspach Mortuary, 620 Oregon St., Bakersfield. Please join her family and friends Saturday, November 29, Lamont Assembly of God Church, 8300 Collison St, Lamont, California, 11:00 a.m. in honor of her life. Graveside services follow immediately at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Lamont Assembly of God is hosting lunch for all following graveside services. The family thanks Nana's caregivers and Optimal Hospice for the loving care she received during her last four months. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Lamont Assembly of God Church or to Optimal Hospice.
