Margaret "Sissy" Fain went home to be with the Lord on February 27, 2016. Margaret was born December 5, 1944 to Lucille Harrison and Albert Whitener. Margaret Fain married Bill Fain in 1962. Margaret's pride enjoy were her two sons Mike and Kevin Fain, and grandson Kolby Fain. She enjoyed traveling, bowling, and spending time with her loved ones. She had a heart of gold and was always there for many to lend a helping hand. Margaret Fain work for Rain for Rent in Bakersfield, CA for 26 years. She took pride in her job, and made a special friend who she admired Ryan Lake, who called her "Granny". She retired as manager in 2013 and later moved to Merrill OR, to be closer to her sons. Margaret will be missed for many things, her beautiful smile, her laughter, but most of all her friendship. Margaret is preceded in death by her mother and step father, father, husband Bill Fain, and her sister Mary Maynard. Margaret is survived by her sons Mike and Kevin Fain, grandson Kolby Fain, special niece Raylee Maynard, three sisters, and many nieces and nephews. Viewing will be at Peters Funeral Home Tuesday March 8, 2016 from 4:00 pm to 8:00pm. Celebration of life will be a grave side service at Shafter Cemetery Wednesday March 9, 2016 @ 10:00am.
