Mardiva Rogers was born in Yantis, Texas on September 18, 1922 to Elmer Andrew & Zeffie Pomelia (Yancey) Ayers. Mardiva worked in agriculture as a laborer for 50 years. She was 91 years old when she passed away on February 12, 2014 in Shafter, California. She is preceded in death by her husband Cletis Rogers and daughter Sandra Pankey. Mardiva is survived by grandsons Jeff Pankey and Eddie Pankey; great grandson Garrett Pankey and wife Reagan; Wyatt Pankey; and son in law Gary Pankey. A Funeral service was held at the 7th Standard Pentecostal Church of God on Tuesday February 18, 2014 at 10am.
