Marcus was born in Denver Colorado, on July 3, 1992 to Mario Alburez and Tricia Martinez. His family and close friends called him "Moo." Marcus was raised in Shafter and attended elementary school at Rio Bravo Greely and was an alumni of Shafter High School Class of 2010. He worked as a cook for Denny's in Lost Hills for 3 years. Marcus is survived by his parents Mario Alburez and Tricia Martinez; brothers Jessie (Lorie) Alburez and Antonio Olvera; sisters Myriah (Fernando) Garcia, Roezanna Alburez, Leila Alburez, Diamond Olvera; niece Brooklyn Garcia; nephews Hussle Garcia and Lorenzo Alburez. A Memorial service was held at First Southern Baptist Church of Shafter on Saturday August 23, 2014 at 1pm.
