Manuel Jimenez was born in Fresno, California on November 6, 1955 to Manuel Gomez & Julia (Montero) Jimenez. Manuel worked in Construction as a General Contractor for 20 years. Manuel was 58 years old when he passed away on February 8, 2014 in Bakersfield, California. Manuel is survived by his wife, Hortencia Corona Jimenez; children, Julie Marie Caberrera, and Isaac Rae Jimenez; step children, Gabriel Corona, Bernardo Medina, Mariana Alvarado, Tonya Alvarado, and Rebecca Alvarado; five grandchildren; 1 grandson; 1 great-grandson; mother, Julia Montero Jimenez; sisters, Eleanor Coleman, Linda Flórez, Angelita Cardenas, Anita Caudillo, Cecilia Lopez, and Gabriela Arguellas; brothers, Eduardo Jimenez, Donato Jimenez, and Marcos Jimenez; Preceded in death by daughter, Sara Rose Jimenez; father, Manuel G. Jimenez; sister, Alice Sifuentes The Mass of the Resurrection will be officiated by Father David Enriquez at St. Therese's Catholic Church on Tuesday February 18, 2014 at 10am. A visitation will be held on Monday February 17, 2014 at 2pm with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6pm.
