Manuel Santa Cruz Garcia was born in Jalisco, Mexico to Manuel and Josefina Garcia. He worked as a mechanic for 15 years and he was a resident of Kern County for 43 years. Manuel Garcia was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his Francisca Garcia; sons, Manuel and Eric; brothers, Jose Garcia, Ruemundo Garcia and Francisco Garcia; grandchildren, Dan, Christian, Brya and Emma. Rosary and Mass were held on Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at 10am at St. Therese's Catholic Church in Shafter for Manuel Garcia, age 59, of Wasco, who passed away on December 8, 2011 in Wasco. Interment was followed at Shafter Memorial Park.
