Macario "Max" Rodriguez a resident of Shafter passed away March 12, 2009 at the age of 78. He was born in Carlsbad, NM to Brijida and Manuel Rodriguez. He was a veteran of the Korean War. Max is preceded in death by his wife Paula Rodriguez, father Manuel Rodriguez (1984) and daughter Debra Arvizo (2008). He is survived by his mother Brijida Rodriguez; brothers Adolfo, Reymundo, Daniel and Abel Rodriguez; sisters Mercy Villa, Julia Alvarez and Emma James; daughters, Susan Rivera and Tina Ferland; sons David, Manuel, Frank, Richard, Albert and Arturo Rodriguez, Ted and Sam Arvizo, Carlos and Danny Rios and Ronnie Amaro and former wife Rosemary Burciaga. Graveside services will be held at Shafter Memorial Park for Macario "Max" Rodriguez March 17, 2009, 1pm. Visitation will be Monday, March 16th at Peters Funeral Home Chapel from 2 to 8pm.
