Obituary for Mable Tietz Mable Tietz, age 84 of Twentynine Palms, went home to be with the Lord on November 8, 2014 at Twentynine Palms, California. Mrs. Tietz was born in Adrian, Michigan on March 14, 1930. She was the daughter of Cleo Lonis and Harriet Lonis Baldwin. She was employed at the Naval Air Facility in El Centro, Ca. for 30 years before retiring in 1996. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in El Centro, Ca. She is survived by her children, Michael and Janice Tietz of Tehachapi, William and Annette Tietz of Ozark, Missouri, Richard and Rose Tietz of Korea, Lugene Springfield of Twentynine Palms, and brother David and Alice Lonis of Morenci, Michigan. She is survived by seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Marc Tietz. Service and internment will be at Joshua Tree Memorial Park, Friday, November 14th at 1:00. In lieu of flowers, make a donation to the charity of your choice.
