MABLE ALICE TERRY MAY 1, 1917 - APRIL 26, 2007 Maple Alice Terry was born May 1, 1917 in Wishert, Missouri to Jasper and Martha (Cole) King. In 1935, she came to Shafter and moved to Wasco in 1961. She was a loving Christian wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who loved and cared for her family. She loved her church and ladies bible studies, beside quilting and gardening in her garden. She is survived by her 4 daughters; Virginia Cowart, Carol Pratt, Mary Caldwell and Sharron Pritchett: and 2 sons; Wayne Terry and James Terry: 1 sister; Dorothy Bruner: 18 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Loyd Terry in 1981, her parents and 3 brothers. A graveside funeral service under the direction of Peters Funeral Home was held at Wasco Memorial Park on April 30, 2007 at 1:00PM for Mable A. Terry, 89, of Wasco, who passed away at Carrington Board Care Facility in Shafter, on April 26, 2007. A visitation was held at Peters Funeral Home Chapel on April 29, 2007 from 2-8 PM.
