Lupe Aguerria was born on Jul 15, 1930 in Wasco, California to Jose Senteno and Clara (Montesino) Senteno. She attended Wasco elementary schools and Wasco Union High School. Lupe and Joaquin Aguerria were married on December 16, 1950 in San Jose, California and made Wasco their home. Lupe enjoyed embroidery, making homemade tortillas, puzzle books, circle a word and playing bingo. In her younger years she volunteered as yard supervisor at St. Johns and was an active member of the church. She is survived by her sons, Eddie, Joseph, Joaquin, John, Thomas; daughters, Jackie, Barbara, Elizabeth, Madeleine and Caroline; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Joaquin Aguerria; son, Alfred Aguerria; grandson, Michael and her parents and siblings. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at 6pm at St. John's Catholic Church for Lupe Aguerria, age 85, who passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at her residence. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, August 13, 2015 at 10am. Fr. Raul Sanchez will officiate and interment will follow in the Wasco Memorial Park. A visitation will be held Wednesday, August 12 from 2pm until 5pm at Peters Funeral Home, Wasco.
