Luis Angel Alvidrez Cano was born in Pascualeno Camargo, Chihuahua, Mexico on August 25, 1933 to Lazaro Alvidrez Cordero and Romana Cano Ramirez. He married Margarita (Munoz) Alvidrez 55 years ago then decided to call Lost Hills their home. Together they raised four children and taught them all the values of life. Luis Angel shared his wisdom with all his children. He always treated everyone with respect; his beloved animals and trees were no exception. Luis Angel would often have conversation with his pecan trees and let them know how much he loved them, consistently thanking them for their hard work and abundant giving. When Luis was not talking to his trees; he was adopting animals or collecting rocks from places he would visit. Margarita and Luis Angel enjoyed their retirement traveling from their home in Lost Hills and Camargo. Luis Angel was a very special person who loved with all his heart and appreciated everything life had to give. He is one of a kind who will be missed and loved by many. Luis Angel was 81 years old when he passed away on June 6, 2015. Luis Angel is survived by his wife, Margarita Alvidrez; sons, Juan Alvidrez Munoz (Christine Gonzalez), Miguel Angel Alvidrez Munoz (Nancy Acosta), Luis Daniel Alvidrez Munoz; daughter, Carmelita Angulo Alvidrez (Jorge Angulo); brothers, Miguel Alvidrez Cano (Luz Elena Alvidrez), Manuel Alvidrez Cano, Salvador Alvidrez Cano, Octavio Alvidrez Cano (Magdalena Ortega) sister- in- laws, Ramona Peinado, Elvia Ovalle; grandchildren, Jorge Angulo, Rebeca Angulo, Macario Angulo, Alisha Alvidrez, Melissa Alvidrez, Nina Loren Alvidrez, Jaxon Cash Alvidrez; great- grandchildren, Alinna, Jacob, and Lea. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lazaro Alvidrez Cordero and Romana Cano Ramirez; brothers, Abel Alvidrez Cano and Ramon Alvidrez Cano. A mass of a Christain burial was officiated by Father Raul A. Sanchez Flores Friday, June 12, 2015 at 2pm at St. John's Catholic Church. A visitation was held Thursday, June 11 from 12-9pm with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6pm at Peters Funeral Home in Wasco.
