Lucy
Juarez
Dec 13, 1956 — Sep 9, 2026
Wasco CA.
Lucy Salazar Juarez, also known as "Grammy", passed away peacefully in her sleep, September 9, 2026. She passed away, surrounded by her loved ones.
Lucy was born in Arizona, and lived the majority of her life in Wasco, CA, where she built her life. She was fortunate enough to meet the love of her life, Ricardo, who she married at 18. She started working as a farm labor worker, and did so for 20 years. She then went back to college to gain enough credits to work with children. She worked as a preschool aide for 15 years. After those accomplishments she ultimately decided to stay home so she could take care of her children as well as her grandchildren.
She was known for the love she had for her family and the distances she would go for them. She showed this by the way she was present, and the quality time she spent with her loved ones. Lucy had a vibrant life, full of laughter, fun times and great memories. One of her favorite things she was known for was her love of the casino. She tested her luck in hopes of not just winning it big for herself but to share it with those that she loved. That's the type of person she was. Lucy will be dearly missed and remembered by the entirety of her essence that could not and will not be watered down by her sickness towards the end.
Lucy was survived by her husband of 51 years, Ricardo; their 3 children Veronica, Rick, and Letty; her 3 daughter/son-in laws, Raul, Horacio, and Gabby; her 15 grandchildren, Vivianna, Jonathan, Christopher, Kaitlyn, Luis, Gizelle, Jazanna, Jada, Melody, Sofia, Andrew, Zaylene, Catalina, Nick, and RJ; as well as her 3 great grandchildren, Estella, Phoebe, and Amirah.
