Obituary

Louise Alebord was born in Pierreville, Quebec, Canada on September 17, 1920, to parents Donat and Bertha Durand. She loved to spend time in her huge rose garden. Louise also enjoyed quilting, knitting and of course she will be remembered for crocheting such large, beautiful blankets for family and close friends. Another skill she became proficient in was her baking and decorating; she would take on large multilayer projects, and always did so well with them. Louise was strong willed and feisty even till the end. She will be dearly missed by her family and loving friends. Louise was preceded in death by her parents, and her daughter, Connie Duenas (2012). She is survived by her daughter, Dale Flynn-Rosales and husband Frank Rosales; grandchildren, Amy Roderick, John Guthro (Debby), Donny Duenas, and John Rderick; great granddughters, Jessica Abreu (Alcino), and Brittany Alstrom (Dana); as well as her great great grandchildren, Carter, Julianna, Tre, and Xavier. Her family would like to offer their thanks to Donny and Amy for all of your help for the past two weeks. Louise Alebord passed away Thursday, June 2, 2016 in Bakersfield, CA. Celebration of Life to be held Saturday, June 11, 2016 from noon to 3pm at Paradise Cove Lodge, 10700 Hwy. 178, Lake Isabella, CA 93240.
