Louis Fimbres Jr. was born in Compton, California on January 6, 1980 to Louis Gutierrez and Beatrice (Del Rio) Fimbres. He was raised in Shafter and attended Shafter High School. Louis enjoyed spending time with his daughter Victoria and especially taking her fishing. He was a very loving son, father, husband, brother and friend to all who knew him. Louis is survived by his wife of 10 years Laurie Ornelas; mother Beatrice Fimbres; daughter Victoria Fimbres; step-daughter Karissa Aguilar; brothers Benjamin Fimbres, Daniel Fimbres, and Daniel Larralde; sisters Debbie Fimbres, Darlene Fimbres, and Sarah Larralde; nieces Vivian, Tylene, Olivia, Aubree and Zayla; numerous cousins and close friends. He is preceded in death by his father Louis Fimbres Sr., and sister Vivian Fimbres. The Mass of the Resurrection will be officiated by Father David Enriquez at St. Therese's Church on Friday October 3, 2014 at 10am. A visitation will be held on Thursday October 2, 2014 at 4pm with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6pm at Peters Funeral Home Chapel in Shafter.
