Lorine DeVaney passed away at the age of 92 on Nov. 7, 2011, in Sacrament, CA. Grave side services will be conducted Nov. 14. 2011, 2:00 PM at Union Cemetery in Bakersfield, CA. She will be buried with her husband Harry. Lorine was preceded in death by her husband Harry DeVaney, a Disabled American Veteran, her sister Irene Quiggle and brothers, Harold and Joseph Williams and a daughter-in-law, Sondra Hicks. Survivors include her son, William Hicks of Sacramento and her daughter and son-in-law, Norma Jean and Jimmy Crader, of Gustine, TX, also 2 nephews, Louie and Patrick Quiggle, their families and many friends. Lorine was active in many veterans organizations until her health started to fail, including:Women's Relief Corp, VFW and DAV Auxiliaries. Her husband and Lorine were volunteers several years at the Veterans Booth at the Fair. She was loved very much and will be missed. Hopson-Anspach Family Mortuary in charge of arrangements
