Lorene Prickett Holliman was born in Texas on Sept. 22, 1915. She went home to be with our Heavenly Father on May 5, 2010. During her 94 years on earth, she became a wife twice, a mother four times, a grandmother ten times, a great-grandmother 17 times, and a great-great grandmother 9 times. She worshiped God at her home church, The Church of Christ in Shafter, CA. She had been a faithful member of this congregation for 64 years. She is preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Ollis Prickett, in 1967 and her second husband of 21 years, Henry Holliman in 1990. . Family members to precede her were: Son-in-law Kenneth K. Craig, Grand-daughter Bess Lorene (Craig) Wilkerson, Great-grand daughter Renee Prickett. Lorene is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Paul Johnson of Rainier, OR. Her daughter, Barbara Craig of Shafter, CA. Son, Kermit Prickett of Shafter, CA. Daughter and son-in-law, Idanell and Richard Holliman of Shafter, CA. In 1969, when she married Henry Holliman, she gained five additional children, seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren. This incredible matriarch will be greatly missed by her large family. Viewing will be at Peter's Funeral Home in Shafter, CA from 2pm-8pm on Monday, May 10, 2010. Funeral services will be held on May 11, 2010 at 10am at Peter's Funeral Home in Shafter.
