Lois Ruth Swesey Accountant, Bookkeeper, 91 Lois Ruth Swesey, a resident of Joshua Tree, died Jan. 17, 2011, at Hi-Desert Medical Center of natural causes. She was 91 years old. The daughter of Henry Splan Kemper and Beaulah Florence Petty, she was born Oct. 13, 1919, in Hugo, Okla. Mrs. Swesey was an accountant and bookkeeper, working for an insurance company, for 30 years before she retired. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Swesey is survived by brother Roland Petty of Hemet, niece Ann Kemper of San Diego and other extended family members Family held a Graveside Service at Jan. 24 at Grfeenwood Cemetery in San Diego, CA.
