Lois Hall November 15, 1927 – March 28, 2014 Lois Hall was born November 15, 1927 in Blanchard, Oklahoma one of eleven children born to Maggie (Wiggins) and Eliasha Atkinson. She moved to Wasco, California in 1945 and married Robert L. Hall, February 2, 1949. A year later, Lois began her 30-year career with Janzen's Drug Store. She was baptized into the Church of Christ in 1963 and Lois and Bob were active members of the Wasco church where she served as a Sunday School teacher for many years. They moved to Bakersfield in 2003 and became members of the Highland Church of Christ. On their 25th anniversary Lois and Bob traveled to Hawaii and during their retirement years took a traveling tour of Oregon, Idaho, South Dakota Nebraska, New Mexico and Arizona. Their last big trip was to Alaska in 2008. Lois enjoyed oil painting and Thomas Kinkade was a favorite artist. Lois is survived by her husband of 65 years, Robert Hall; brothers, Timothy Atkinson and wife Edna, and J.C. Atkinson and wife Bernice; sister-in-law, Christine Atkinson; and many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eliasha and Maggie; 4 brothers, Russell, Truman, Guy and Tommy; 4 sisters, Sarah Brown, Mintie Smith, Dorothy Cluck and Naomi Unruh. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, April 1 at 11am at Wasco Memorial Park for Lois Oleta Hall, age 86, of Bakersfield who passed away March 28, 2014 in Bakersfield. Pastor Regan Waters of the Highland Church of Christ will officiate the service and interment will follow. Visitation will be held Monday, March 31 at Peters Funeral Home, Wasco.
