Linda Ladine Martin passed away on August 24, 2010 at the age of 62. Linda was born on November 12, 1947 to Eunice and Roy Harp, in Bakersfield, Ca. Linda spent her life as a caring and loving mother and grandmother. Linda was a devoted member of the Jesus Saves Church. She enjoyed decorating especially for the church during Easter and Christmas. She also enjoyed watching QVC and she was great at re-upholstering. Linda will be greatly missed by her son Billy and wife Melissa Martin; daughter Kimberly Howard; brother Ron Harp; grandchildren Ashley, Lacie, Josh, and Luke; and her cat Max. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Nicki Carol Lewis. Visitation will be held Sunday, August 29, 2010, at Peters Funeral Home in Shafter from 2-8pm. Pastor Steve Seymour will officiate the funeral service, Monday, August 30, 2010 at Peters Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Shafter Memorial Park. Linda will always be remembered as a very loving and generous woman.
