Linda was born in Delano, California on June 28, 1947 to parents Ursulo Mendoza and Phyllis (Quezada) Mendoza. Linda married the love of her life, Freddie Alonzo Sr. on September 5, 1970 and soon became a stay at home mother to their three children. She enjoyed starting her mornings in her garden, then retreating into her home for daily cleaning. Linda took pride in having an immaculate home. After dinner; she made dessert for the entire family then would end her evening watching her favorite baking channel. Above everything, Linda cherished her children and grandchildren. Linda adored her family dog, Tinkerbell. Linda entered God's Heavenly gates greeted by Angels, on March 29, 2017. Linda is survived by her beloved husband of 47 years, Freddie Alonzo Sr.; children, Annie Alonzo, Freddie Alonzo Jr. and wife Sandra, Kristie Alonzo- Garza and husband Chevy; grandchildren, Anthony Ruiz, Ophelia Ruiz, Freddie Alonzo III, Sereena Mojica; sisters, Jessie Ireland, Barbara Espinoza, Carmen Bravo, Betty Mendoza. She is preceded in death by her parents Ursulo and Phyllis Mendoza. A graveside service was held Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at 10am at Wasco Memorial Park. A viewing was held Monday, April 3, 2017 from 4-8pm with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6pm at Peters Funeral Home in Wasco, Ca.
