Lettie Lee Glenn was born to Theodore "Doc" and Claudie (Griffith) Wills, on August 24, 1939, in Bakersfield, CA. She went to be with the Lord on February 16, 2025, at the age of 85.
She was married to John her high school sweetheart for 62 years until his passing in November 2018, and together they raised four children.
A woman of many interests, Lettie found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She cherished the time spent with her family, creating memories that would last a lifetime. Lettie's love for reading transported her to worlds beyond her own, while her passion for travel led her to explore the beauty of our planet. Camping under the stars, Lettie felt a profound connection to nature and the universe's grandeur.
Lettie's life was a living example of thoughtfulness in action. She approached every person and every situation with a kind heart and an open mind. Her ability to listen and her willingness to share made her a cherished confidante and a wise counselor to many.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband John; son John Michael; daughter-in-law Teresa Glenn; grandson Shawn; and great-grandson John.
She is survived by son Matthew; daughters Anna Balentine (Steve), Lettie "Bunny" LeMay (Alan), Lisa Tatman (Dondi); as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
As we say goodbye to Lettie, we celebrate a life beautifully lived and a soul that enriched the lives of so many. Her spirit will forever remain a guiding light, reminding us of the power of love and the importance of giving. Lettie's journey on earth may have come to an end, but her influence will continue to be felt for generations to come.
