On October 14, 2014, Letha was called home to be with the Lord. She was 88 years old. Letha was born in Cleveland, Oklahoma on July 4, 1926, to Lee and Beatrice Doshier. Letha and her family came to California in the early 1940's where she met and married Lewis M. Force on August 15,1945. They resided in the Bakersfield area and were married 48 years. Letha was a seamstress and loved doing crafts. She loved John Wayne movies and her family. She was always there if you needed her. She is survived by her sons Steve (Sharon), Bruce (Debbie) and her daughter Esther Gonyer, 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren and her beloved dog Bandit. Letha is preceded in death by her husband of 48 years Lewis and three of her grandchildren Jennifer, Shauna and Scotty. A service will be held at the Arvin Funeral Home October 22, @ 1:00 p.m. followed by a graveside service following at the Arvin Cemetery. Viewing will be October 21 from 4:00 and 8:00p.m. Rest in Peace, dear Letha.
