Obituary

Kind hearted, hard-working, a dog lover and volunteer extraordinaire LeRoy Truman Trytten died on July 3, 2015. Born in Blue Earth, Minnesota, on Aug. 17, 1937, to Benjamin and Delores Trytten, LeRoy defied the odds by beating polio at an early age. His adventures took him from Minnesota to Hemet, Clovis and Yucca Valley in California. After proudly serving his country in the Army, he spent his career at International Harvester and Fresno Truck Center. No sedentary retirement for him; he dedicated his time to the Volunteer Improvement Team, which earned him a Volunteer of the Year award. He is survived by wife Alberta, daughter Dee Myers and husband Robb, daughter Jennifer Trytten and husband Michael Holmes; grandson Ryan Myers; step-children Shelly Fullerton, Julie Christopherson, Sandra Hannah, Randy Hannah, Suzanne Falls, Anne Morreale, and Kaarin Hannah; brothers VeRone Trytten and wife Norma, Dennis Trytten and wife Edie, and Terry Trytten and wife Marilyn. He will be deeply missed by all including his dogs, Max and Leo. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be sent to the Morongo Basin Humane Society.
