Leonila Casique, age 64, passed away peacefully on July 7, 2021. She was born July 19, 1957 in El Paso, Texas to Antonio Zamora and Ausencion Mendoza. She married Alfredo Casique, who preceded her in death in 2016. Leonila loved sitting outside her porch and listening to oldies. She also enjoyed her morning and afternoon walks. She was a fiercely dedicated mother to all her children, raising all four of them to be the best that they can be. Leonila is survived by her four children, Abraham Hernandez and wife Mikki, Angela Hernandez, Antonio Zamora and wife Monica, and Amy Hinojos; along with 18 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, and 7 brothers. All of these, she loved and touched deeply. A visitation will be held on Friday, July 16, 2021 from 4:00-8:00PM at Peters Funeral Home Chapel in Shafter. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at 9:00AM at Seventh Standard Pentecostal Church of God in Shafter. Burial will follow at Shafter Memorial Park.
