Leonard Dunn was born on April 26,1943 to parents Willie and Rutha Dunn, in Little River Arkansas. Leonard attended local Elementary and High School in King County and received his High school diploma from Compton Adult school.

Leonard met and married Wilma Ruth Hogan. To this union six children was born: Leonard Dunn Jr, Tammy Dunn, Larry Dunn, Luuvenya Dunn, Tonya Dunn, Demetria Dunn.

Leonard worked for various companies and later gain employment at Lockheed Corporation where he was employed from 1967 until his retirement in 1987. He received numerous certificates of achievement throughout his employment.

He later married Pamela Shugart in 2013. He often wrote her love letters to express his love for his Queen. They shared love and laughter. He loved Martial Arts and had obtain his Black belt. He was also an avid motorcycle rider until he could no longer ride. Leonard named his cycle (Tangerine).

Leonard was baptized at True Light Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late M.E. Cockrell. He was appointed to the Board of Trustee. He was a faithful member until health issues would not permit him to do so.

Leonard was preceded in death by his parents Willie and Rutha Dunn, his wife Wilma, his sons Larry Dunn, Jermaine and Carl (Damon) Shugart and daughter Tammy Dunn.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his Queen Pamela Dunn, his children Leonard Dunn Jr, Luuvenya Dunn, Tonya Dunn, Demetria Dunn and Kindra Lewis. His sister Margaret Robertson, 21 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and host of other relatives and friends.

Leonard quiet spirt and beautiful smile will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
