She came to Bakersfield, CA, when she was four years old with her family. Lenora was the third of seven children, to whom she was very close. After marrying John Porter, they lived in Wasco, CA, where they raised their three children. She is preceded in death by husband John Porter, daughter Diane Johnson; brothers Jimmy, Gerald, Donald and Steve Senior; sisters Wanda Etchegon and Mary Munson. Lenora passed away at the age of 99 ½ years. Lenora is survived by daughter Linda Dieter (Larry), son Gary Porter (Becky), grandsons Ronnie Johnson (Patty), Randy Johnson (Nani), Mark Dieter, Kevin Porter and Patrick Porter; granddaughters Jennifer Dieter Ogborn and Stephanie Parker (Steve); and 11 great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at Wasco Memorial Cemetery, Hwy 46 and Leonard Ave., on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in Wasco, CA.
