Leanna Judith Aguilera was born on July 16, 2011 in Bakersfield, California to Tommy and Tonia Aguilera. She passed away on July 21, 2011 from medical complications of Trisomy 18, a condition which is caused by a chromosomal defect. Baby Leanna was perfect and beautiful in every way. During her five miraculous days of life, she left everyone with precious moments and unconditional love to last a lifetime. Leanna made several friends during her stay at Mercy Southwest Hospital. Her parents would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at the Birthing Center and in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). All of whom gave the best of care. Leanna is survived by her parents Tommy and Tonia Aguilera of Bakersfield, CA; sisters, Toriana and Cianna Aguilera of Bakersfield, CA; paternal grandparents, Manuel and Juanita Aguilera of Bakersfield, CA; maternal grandparents, Judith McKinney of San Jose, CA; and Manuel Valdovinos of Shafter, CA; paternal great-grandmother Natalia Gonzalez of Bakersfield, CA; maternal great-grandmother Frances McKinney of San Jose, CA; and several aunts, uncles, cousins; and friends. Mass of the Resurrection will be officiated by Msgr. Craig at St. Francis Catholic Church, Tuesday, July 25, 2011 at 12:00pm with interment immediately following at Shafter Memorial Park. Visitation was held in Mary's Chapel at St. Francis Church, Monday, July 25, 2011 from 6pm to 8pm with Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7pm.
