Babe is survived by his beloved companion, Lala Alarcon; daughter, Charmaine Rowe and husband Tom; grandsons, John and Christopher Rowe; brother, Timmy Gardeo; sisters, Esther Higuera, Charmaine Sanchez, Dolores Castro, Margaret Torres; friend, Carmen Langfield; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, John Olivarez. Ricardo Magdelano will officiate and interment will follow at Union Cemetery. Visitation will be 9:15 until the service on Monday, August 13 at St. Joseph's Church.
