LaWanda passed away on December 17, 2008. She was born in Fairfax, Oklahoma on September 25, 1937 to John and Laura (Robbins) Edwards. They moved to Shafter, California in May, 1944. LaWanda received all of her schooling in Shafter graduating with the class of 1955. In December of 1955 she married Bob T. Moore, a young man just out from Oklahoma. They were married for 27 years and had two beautiful daughters, Cindy Davis and husband Dalton, of Rockwall, Texas and Becky Mays and husband Joe and their daughter Amanda, of Grand Saline, Texas. LaWanda was the only daughter and the youngest. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Laura Edwards, brothers Leroy Foust of Socorro, New Mexico, John of Pawnee, Oklahoma, Bill of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Ted of Bakersfield, California and Frank of Lake Isabella, California. Also left to cherish her memory is her faithful companion of 27 years, Frank D. Hernandez. You will never see me – You will never hear me – But you will always feel me, God bless you all, Love Mom
