Laura "Judith" Hopkins was born March 18, 1945 in Wasco, CA. to parents, Ellis and Rella Hill. Judith was a local fixture in Shafter; she managed Mission Bank for the last 12 years, and worked at Westamerica Bank for several years before that. In her downtime, she enjoyed making trips over to the coast, and spending quality time at Morro Bay. Judith also enjoyed entertaining family and friends, and always had folks coming by the house to share some good times and conversation. She was a joyful and fun loving woman. Judith always had a smile on her face and she just loved caring for people. She will be dearly missed. Judith is survived by her sons, Kip Hopkins and Todd Hopkins, both of Shafter; her 2 nephews that she held dear to her heart, Dustin Lauren Hill and Sean C. Hill; and her brothers, Larry Dean Hill and Robert Eugene Hill. Laura "Judith" Hopkins died in Bakersfield, CA. on August 17, 1945.
