Kenneth Ray Derry, "Kenny", was born in Bakersfield, CA on September 7th, 1961, to Billy and Rosalie Derry. He passed away on August 20th, 2025 at the age of 63.

Kenny lived in Shafter most of his life. He enjoyed walking around the community, especially around Shafter High and Mannel Park; and loved telling stories about the good old times. He also loved classic rock music, movies, sports, animals and collecting comic books/sports cards.

He was a devoted Husband, Father, Brother and Uncle who was always around to support his family. "Family is all you got" as he would put it.

Kenny will be missed by all of his family. His wife Cecilia Derry and their children; Michael, Matthew, and Ryan Derry; His sister Linda Rasmussen; His nieces and nephews; Shawn, Missy, Bree, Dwayne, Chris "Bubba", and Brittney; His grand nieces and nephews; and plenty more friends and family. Last but not the least, his cat Tulip.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Billy and Rosalie Derry; his brother, Gary Derry; and his son, Steven Derry.
