Kayla Christine Doolittle, July 21, 1993 - April 17, 2022. Kayla was born and raised in Bakersfield, a smart, spirited, friendly girl who brought smiles to so many. As a child she loved soccer, was an avid reader and displayed creative talents through her arts and crafts. As an adult, Kayla gave our family two awesome sons - Brody, 12, and Westin, 4. Her love for them embodied the deepest love many of us only read about. She excelled at her employment and was rewarded, but her boys were always first. She was a wonderful mother. Kayla is survived by her sons, Brody and Westin, her parents, Laura and Tim Doolittle, her sister Haley, brothers Tim, Jeremy and Cody, three nephews, three aunts, one uncle, 18 cousins, numerous great aunts, uncles, and a great -grandmother. Services will be at Peters Funeral Home in Shafter CA at 10 a.m. on May 6, 2022. The family has requested donations be made to The Bridge Bible Church in Bakersfield or to the charity of your choice in Kayla's name.
