Juana Aurora Vera was born April 9, 1924 in San Antonio, Texas one of two children born to Apolonia (Herrera) and Eusebio Albarran. Shortly after she was born the family moved back to Mexico where she grew up. Her parents passed away and Juana and her brother were raised by their grandmother. Juana and Eliborio Vera were married in November of 1942 and moved to Texas in 1961. They settled in Wasco in 1964. Juana was preceded in death by her husband Eliborio who passed away December 24, 2006; her brother and parents. She is survived by her sons, Lupe Vera, Miguel Vera, Jose Vera; daughters, Maria Beltran & husband Frank, Sally Vera and Rosemary Vera, all of Wasco; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Holy Rosary was recited Thursday, June 14 at 6pm at St. John's Hall for Juana Aurora Vera, age 88, of Wasco who passed away June 12, 2012 at home in Wasco. Mass of the Christian Burial was said Friday, June 15 at 1pm. Fr. John Fluetsch officiated the services and interment followed at Wasco Memorial Park. Visitation was held Friday, June 15 from 10am to service time at Peters Funeral Home.
