Juan Manuel Romero November 11, 1948 – August 3, 2013 Beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, father in law, brother in law, uncle, cousin and friend. Juan was born in Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico. Juan Had one brother, Ernesto Romero and six sisters: Rosario (Chayo) Romero, Ernestina Estrada, Lucia Ruis, Margarita Solorio, Maria Guadalupe Romero, Brunilda Jacobo. Juan also had many nieces, nephews and many friends. Juan moved to Arvin, California in 1969 where he met the love of his life and wife to be Elma Romero. Juan and Elma married in 1973 and had two sons, oldest son, Juan Manuel Romero, Jr. with Vivian Arroyo gave Juan three children; Destinee E. Romero, Lil Johnny Romero, Deserae Romero, and great granddaughter Isyss Smith. With current wife Esmeralda gave Juan two grandchildren; Giselle Romero and Mikey Romero. Youngest son; Michael Romero and wife Mayra Romero who gave Juan three granddaughters; Samantha Romero, Marissa Romero, and Melody Romero. Juan Loved his grandchildren and was very proud of his grandchildren, who will miss Papa very much. Juan was a truck driver for many years, and loved spending time with his family, singing and playing his guitar. Juan will be greatly missed. Juan was preceded in death by his father, Juan Manuel Romero, Sr. mother Margarita Romero, and sister, Rosario (Chayo) Romero. Viewing will be held at New Life Church of God on Thursday, August 8, 2013 from 4-8pm. Church Service will be on Friday August 9, 2013 at 10am also at New Life Church of God 8510 Weedpatch Hwy and Burial services will take place at Arvin Cemetery 15543 S. Vineland Road.
