Juan was born on February 8, 1929 in San Luis Potosí Mexico to parents, Jose and Evarista Cabrera. Juan married his loving wife, Maria on January 29, 1960 and moved to Arvin in 1968 where he worked for Cantonia Farms for 25 Years. Juan was a very cheerful man with a warm and happy smile full of laughter. Juan in preceded in death by both of his parents, Elpido, Gabriel, Refugio, Pablo, Juan and Tomasa. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Maria, his son; Edward Cabrera, his daughters; Esmeralda and Irma Cabrera, his brothers; Francisco, Pedro, Bernabel, Ablino, and Guillermo Cabrera and his sister Rosa. He is also survived by Leonor Trujillo, his 19 loving grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, lots of nieces and nephews. A Visitation for Juan was held at the Arvin Funeral home on Tuesday, June 24, 2008 from 2-8pm with Recitation of the Holy Rosary being held at 6pm. A mass of a Christian Burial was held at St. Thomas Catholic Church on Wednesday, June 25, 2008 at 10am.
