Joyce was born in Hanford CA.to parents Earl and Ada Britton. She grew up in Angiola and attended elementary and high school in Corcoran. She worked in the food service industry for over 50 years, at various restaurants in the Tulare area. She was a great single mom who raised 3 children; Earl Harris, Regina Harris and Darla Dodd. She was proceeded in death by her parents and a sister, Regina Carter. She is survived by her 3 children, 5 grandchildren; Cristen, Matthew, Charles,Zebulia and Tagen; 2 great grandchildren and special cousin, Perry Peacock. She will be sorely missed by all the family and friends who enjoyed her hospitality and affectionately dubbed her mom. Joyce resided in Wasco the last 12 years of her life. Services will be done by Peters Funeral Home,Friday Jan. 22, 2016, 11:00 a.m. at Tipton & Pixley Cemetery. (10395 Ave 144, Tipton CA. 93272)
