JOSEPH W. MARTIN 1922 – 2009 Joseph W. Martin was born October 23, 1922, in Colfax, Illinois, to James and Vera Martin. He passed away in Bakersfield, April 11, 2009. He attended grammer school, high school and college in Normal, Illinois. He enlisted in the US Navy in 1943, and was discharged in January 1947. He began work at Buck Owens Productions in 1970 and retired in 1990. Joseph is survived by two daughters, Mandy and her children, Melissa and her children and long time companion, Rosie. Both daughters reside in England. A memorial service to celebrate Joe's life will be Wednesday, May 20, 2009, from 11:30 AM to 1::30 PM, at Buck Owens Crystal Palace.
