Jose Carlos Trujillo was born July 15, 1948, in Cosala, Sinaloa, Mexico. Growing up, he enjoyed playing many sports. His favorites were: volleyball, soccer, and running track.

In 1974, Jose came to the United States where he met the love of his life Oralia Gomez. Jose and Oralia were married for 32 years and had three beautiful daughters together. Jose worked as a Farm Laborer for Phil Jefferies Farms for over 30 years. He also worked for Wegis Farms, then retired shortly thereafter.

His pass time things he enjoyed doing were collecting cans to recycle, eating Mexican food especially, his nice warm menudo and tacos. Jose loved gardening. He was proud of his chili plants known as "chile de monte" or to others known as "piqins." He enjoyed family gatherings and his thing to bring was his homemade salsa, that he was so proud of making, telling everyone it wasn't spicy, but ended up having a really good kick to it!

One thing that meant the world to him was visiting his daughters and grandchildren, whom he loved very much. He loved being surrounded by all of us!

Our beloved one, Jose Carlos Trujillo passed away on February 28, 2023 at the age of 74. He is survived by his daughters Christina Silva, Caroline Zacarias, and Cynthia Simmons, his seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and sisters Esperanza, Ramona, Maria del Rosario Margarita, Rebecca, and Maria Trinidad. Jose is preceded in death by his parents Jesus and Trinidad Romero Trujillo, his sister Justina, and his brothers Pancho and Chuy.

Our beloved one is now in the presence of his maker. He will be greatly missed.
