Jose Perez was born February 18, 2008 in Guanajuato, Mexico to Jose and Trinidad (Meza) Perez. He worked hard all his life, over 63 years, in agriculture to provide a better life for his family. He has been a resident of Arvin since 1980 and was preceded in death by his wife, Maria Luz Perez who passed away in 2003. Jose is survived by his sons, Alfredo and wife Martha, Israel and wife Sofia, Jose, Jr. and wife Ruby, Baltazar and wife Alicia and Jesus; daughters, Beatrice Moreno and Eleazar Moreno and husband Isidro; 2 brothers, Manuel and Luis; 26 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be Thursday, July 10, at 6pm at Arvin Funeral Home for Jose Perez, age 83, of Arvin who passed away July 9, in Arvin. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, July 11, at 10am at St. Thomas Church. Padre Juan will officiate and internment will follow at South Kern Cemetery District, Arvin. Visitation will be Thursday, July 10 from 4pm to 8pm at Arvin Funeral Home.
