Jose Oscar Nuñez Saldaña passed away unexpectedly on November 8, 2012 in Ridgecrest, CA. Oscar was born November 3, 1961 in Guadalcasar, San Luis Potosi, Mexico to Ambrocio Nuñez Roque and Juana Saldaña Pineda. He was raised in Cerralvo, Nuevo Leon, Mexico until 1986 when he came to the United States in search of opportunity and prosperity for him and his family. He married his wife, Angel on January 27, 1990 and together they had four children; Angie, Oscar Noel, Ayra Lili, and Osiel Angel. He worked as a field laborer in the San Joaquin Valley, working in the kiwi orchards of McFarland and then working for Paramount Farms for 15 years. Afterwards, Oscar took up a career in trucking, working the past seven years for T & T Trucking. His most recent accomplishment, and for Oscar and his family also his most significant, Oscar accepted Jesus Christ into his life and was baptized in 2009 at the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Wasco. Oscar served as a Deacon, helping Pastor Jose Luque, and opening the church every morning. Oscar will be remembered for his warm and welcoming personality, he made friends wherever he went. He was also very playful, never having completely lost the kid in him, always joking around with his children. To his wife and children, Oscar will always be the great husband and attentive father that gave advice to his kids whenever he could - preparing them for the hardships and realities of the world they are growing up in. One thing he would tell his children was to not stress out too much because Jesus is always with us. His greatest gift to his family was the gift of Faith; bringing them closer to God and setting the example of how to live with Jesus in your heart. His voice will live on in their hearts where they will feel him say, "Jesus loves you" and "Dios viene pronto." Oscar is preceded in death by his sister, Lidia Nuñez. He is survived by his parents, Ambrocio and Juana Nuñez; wife, Angel Nuñez; daughters, Angie and Ayra Lili Nunez; sons, Oscar Noel and Osiel Angel Nunez; sister, Maria Emma Nunez; brother, Reyes David Nunez, and many other family members. Visitation for Jose Oscar Nuñez Saldaña will be held at Peters Funeral Home Chapel in Shafter, CA on Thursday, November 15, 2012 from 6pm-9pm. The funeral service will be held the next morning, Friday, November 16, 2012, 10am at the Wasco Bilingual Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 1010 Poplar Avenue, Wasco, CA. El creció en Cerralvo, Nuevo Leon, Mexico y en 1986 llego a Estados Unidos en busca de oportunidades y prosperida para el y su familia. Se caso con su esposa, Angel el 27 de enero de 1990, y juntos tuvieron cuatro hijos, Angie, Noel Oscar, Lili Ayra y Angel Osiel. Trabajo como peon de campo en el Valle de San Joaquin, también trabajo en los huertos de Kiwi en McFarland, por 15 años trabajo para Paramount Farms. Oscar tomo una carrera de manejar camiones donde trabajo por siete años para la compañía de T & T Trucking fue una de sus metas y su logro mas reciente. Tambien fue muy importante para Oscar y su familia haber aceptado a Jesucristo en su vida y fue bautizado en el 2009 en las Iglesia Adventista del Septimo Dia de Wasco. Oscar sirvió como diacono, ayudando al Pastor José Luque a abrir la iglesia todas las mañanas Oscar será recordado por su personalidad cálida y acogedora, el hizo amigos dondequiera que él iba. También era muy juguetón, sin haber perdido por completo el niño en el, siempre bromeando con sus hijos. Para su esposa e hijos, Oscar siempre será el gran esposo y padre atento que daba consejos a sus hijos cada vez que podía para prepararlos para las dificultades y realidades del mundo que crecen. Una de las cosas que que el diria a sus hijos era que no se estresaran demasios porque Jesus está siempre con nosotros. Su mejor regalo a su familia era el don de la fe, acercarlos a Dios y dando el ejemplo de cómo vivir con Jesus en su corazón. Su voz vivirá en sus corazones, donde sentirán su voz diciendo: Jesus Te Ama" y " Dios Viene Pronto. Oscar es precedido en muerte por su hermana, Lidia Núñez. Le sobreviven sus padres, Ambrocio Y Juana Núñez, esposa, Angel Núñez; hijas, Angie Y Ayra Lili Núñez; hijos, Oscar Noel y Osiel Angel Núñez; hermana, Maria Emma Nuñez; hermano, David Reyes Núñez y mucho otros familiares.
